The Rising Popularity of Sake

Once limited to Japanese cuisine, sake is now a global beverage phenomenon. Experts predict a surge in international sake sales by 2025, thanks to its versatility in pairing with various foods.

Recently designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, sake’s production is experiencing a renaissance, with craft breweries, low-alcohol variations, and innovative flavor profiles emerging worldwide. From sake-based cocktails in London to artisanal sake bars in Sydney, this traditional beverage is gaining ground far beyond Japan.
