Melt butter in a saucepan and add tomato paste, cook the tomato paste in butter for a while. Add 5 glass of water into the saucepan, keep cooking until it boils.
Meanwhile, mix Tarhana and one glass of water finely in another bowl. Add tarhana and water mix slowly into the saucepan. Cook all ingredients 15 – 20 minutes more. Add dry mint and powdered red pepper before serve.
Traditional powdered Tarhana can be bought from Alaiye Gurme.
