FLOUR COOKIE (ALANYA STYLE)
Melt the butter and heat it well. Put the melted butter, oil and powdered sugar in a bowl and knead well. Add starch and vanilla and mix for a while.
Make a dough by adding flour gradually as much as it takes. (It takes about 4-4.5 cups.) Roll the dough and make tiny channels by using a fork and then cut into slices. Place the slices on a greased tray and leave for 5-10 minutes in the fridge. Bake in a 160 degree oven to remain white color of dough. When taken out of the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on cookies.
250 g butter
1 teacup of oil
4-5 tablespoons of powdered sugar
4-5 tablespoons wheat starch
1 packet of vanilla
4 - 4.5 cup of flour
